Construction started on a CCS electric propulsion supporting vessel providing various safeguards at the Dishui Lake Unmanned Ship Testing Field of the Land, Sea and Air Vehicles Unmanned System Platform in Lin-gang Special Area on June 29.

The vessel is being designed and developed to fulfill the professional requirements of the Dishui Lake Unmanned Ship Testing Field.

It has a maximum speed of 18.5km/h, and it can travel at a speed of 10km/h for a duration of at least eight hours. The vessel's LYDAC1000 series all-battery electric propulsion system was developed independently by Shanghai Longyang Marine Technology Co Ltd. In addition to meeting standard requirements, the system performs stably, is convenient to operate, and is quiet.

The Dishui Lake Unmanned Ship Testing Field will become the first professional testing field for unmanned ships in closed waters after completion. It will be able to carry out primary and intermediate tests for intelligent ships such as unmanned ships, provide the basis for the standardization establishment of the unmanned ship performance index, and meet various testing and competition requirements for the inland river intelligent ships and underwater robots developed by universities, research institutes and enterprises.
