Shanghai Supercomputer Technology Co Ltd (SSCT) in the Lin-gang Special Area of the China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone has completed three online training sessions for 21 employees amid the epidemic and received an online staff training subsidy of 31,207.5 yuan ($4,502.2) from the Lin-gang Special Area Administration.

The Lin-gang Special Area Administration released a guide to help enterprises carry out online training and subsidy declarations on Feb 16.

Enterprises applying for online training subsidies need to apply according to the "filing first, training, and applying for subsidy later" system. The Lin-gang Special Area Administration will review and allocate funds in a timely manner.

As of March 10, 33 enterprises in the Lin-gang Special Area have filed materials and applied for more than one million yuan in subsidies.

Because certain materials had to be supplemented during the review of SSCT's application, the Lin-gang Special Area Administration first reviewed all information available and told the company to provide all additional required information as soon as possible.

It took just two days after applying for the company to receive the subsidy.

The Lin-gang Special Area Administration also offered the subsidy to the enterprises in the area which have resumed operations and conducted online training.
